Lavender Ink Studios is a small-batch home fragrance brand based in Wheaton, Maryland, making hand-poured candles and flame-free reed diffusers for homes, gifts and businesses across Washington DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia. Its three signature scents, Coastal Orchids, Lavender Noir and Saffron Santal, each come as a 10 oz coconut-apricot wax candle with two cotton wicks and as a reed diffuser, so a room or a gift can carry one matching scent. Corporate, client and event gifting is available from 12 pieces, with branded inserts, co-branded vessels from 24 pieces, and local delivery in the DMV.

Lavender Ink began after an unexpected accident involving a wine cork threatened our founder Chijindu's sight. That experience sharpened an appreciation for how deeply our senses shape the way we experience space, memory, and everyday life.
Lavender Ink grew from that idea: scent and atmosphere should not be reserved for special occasions. They can make ordinary moments feel more considered.

Our Approach
Our candles and reed diffusers are made in small batches with careful attention to fragrance, materials, vessel design, and presentation. Each of our signature scents is designed as a distinct atmosphere rather than simply a list of notes.

Coastal Orchids is fresh, airy, and softly floral, with mineral drift, sea salt, orchid, and clean coastal notes.
Lavender Noir is a deeper interpretation of calm, combining soft lavender with mineral depth, dark wood, and quiet warmth.
Saffron Santal is warm and grounded, layering rich saffron with smooth sandalwood and soft florals.
